Case 4: Product development improvement
An international service provider needed to decrease its time to market, improve the quality of its software and raise employee satisfaction across its distributed locations.
Through observation, structured workshops, group coaching and remote mentoring, we were able to raise the level of competency and implement a new way of working across the development organization.
As a result of the intervention communication between the product management and development organizations improved and a clear focus on building the right thing was established. The trust and transparency between product- and software development organizations improved to such a degree that management was able to make strategic decisions with less risk and more clarity. Products with lower value were removed from the product portfolio and more resources were directed towards high priority opportunities.
Both employee satisfaction and the quality of the software were significantly increased.
